Shoot more video than you need, but don’t overdo it.
If you shoot too much video, you will spend precious time searching through lots of tape just to find a few shots. Don’t waste time shooting scenes that have nothing to do with your story. Make every shot count. However, don’t cut corners and miss important shots. And, ALWAYS record natural sound.
